Testing and Assessment FAQs
What tests are required as part of the program?
All Lone Star Online Academy at Roscoe (LSOA) students are required to take the following tests:
- Course lesson assessments
- Course unit assessments
- Semester assessments
- Diagnostic and formative assessments to measure growth and mastery of grade-level standards
Will my child have to participate in state testing?
Yes. As public school students, all LSOA students must participate in all district and state-mandated testing, which will require your student to travel to in-person locations. This is a mandatory requirement.
